Arboricultural reports to help with planning applications

Are you looking for reports to help with planning applications?
OMC Associates can produce a variety of reports to address specific planning requirements. This can either be a request for more information to accompany a planning application or discharge of a condition attached to a planning consent.
Local Planning Authorities (LPAs) have a duty to protect good and third party trees and proposed developments must demonstrate that the scheme will not adversely impact on these trees. It should be noted that all householder planning applications must state if there are trees 'within falling distance', and failure to do so will delay or invalidate an application.
Because of many years of experience working within LPAs and the establishment of a good reputation with many LPAs, OMC reports are well regarded and consequently facilitate planning applications.
OMC Associates offers these planning reports:
- BS 5837 (2012) compliant tree survey

- BS 5837 (2012) compliant Tree Constraints Plan (TCP)
– A report assessing all the potential constraints associated with building near trees and often requested by architects/developers prior to designing a layout in order to determine a scheme that: 1) minimises future conflict with trees; 2) allows for retention of good trees and enhancement of the development and 3) improves chances of planning consent.
- BS 5837 (2012) compliant Arboricultural Impact Assessment (AIA)
– A report that assesses how the development may impact on trees and how trees may impact on the development.
- BS 5837 (2012) compliant Arboricultural Method Statement (AMS) and Tree Protection Plan (TPP)
– A detailed report specifying all the precautions and procedures required to ensure that trees to be retained and third party trees are not harmed by the development. This is accompanied by a detailed plan illustrating the...
